…and what have you done?
Those are the questioning words of John Lennon, from his 1971 classic “Happy Xmas – War is Over”.
We are beyond thrilled to say that this year, the Different Is Cool community has done a magical thing – with your generosity of spirit by participating in our Facebook “One Like, One Meal” initiative, you have provided a complete Christmas meal and celebration for over 400 homeless people at the Fred Victor.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks as we have donated those meals this day, on your behalf, to the less fortunate. Your wish for everyone to be fed and warm, will be in each bite they take.
When you sit down for your Christmas or Chanukah meal today with your family, please remember this: you have set a place at your heart’s table for someone who would not otherwise have been included in the blessings of this day.
So please raise a glass to being kind, generous and caring – that’s our toast to you.
May you and yours be blessed with health, happiness and prosperity.
Now, let’s get to work on the “war is over” part of Mr. Lennon’s sonic wish…. 🙂
