When we first came across this story, we all said “Really??”
Yes, really.
Body piercer Dave Hurban, from Dynasty Tattoo in New Jersey, has a love of body art and technology. He has improbably combined the two by engineering a way to attach his iPod Nano to his arm, allowing him to wear it as a wristwatch.
Hurban implanted 4 small titanium anchors into his wrist, attached 4 magnets to the back of his Nano and, voilà!, a body art creation he calls “iDermal.”
The video how-to is a bit cringe-worthy in a can’t-look-away kind of way, but the result is, we must say, really cool looking.

If implanting your technology into your body is too much of a commitment for you, DisC recommends the Lunatik watch strap for iPod Nano. :0)

Gotta say, I don’t pretend to understand it, but I fully respect this Dude’s commitment to self-expression. Oh, and the thing that I kept thinking about when watching his video clip was: Measure twice and cut once, Yoh !.Read more …
It may look good, but I think it’s taking things a bit too far! does it make your body magnetic!!
That’s the 2nd thing that occurred to me too. But it looks like he’s attached the magnets to the iPOD, and titanium posts into his arm. The other way around would definitely be a design engineering flaw
